We are thrilled to launch another year of our hands-on summer school!

Our program emphasizes having as much fun as possible with play-based activities. Teachers from Seisen will run the classes with the assistance of high school students.

Our Kindergarten Summer School Program is designed for students from ages 3 to 5 and is open to current kindergarten students as well as those who have been accepted for the 2026-27 school year.

Pre-first graders are invited to apply to our Elementary Summer School Program

The program starts on Monday, June 15th, and ends on Thursday, July 2nd.

Kindergarten summer school is an amazing chance to make new friends, create lasting memories, and develop a deeper understanding of the three themes we will investigate:

All Aboard (Land, Air, and Sea)

Week One - All Aboard (Land, Air, and Sea)

This week, we will explore how we travel and move things around the world by land, air, and sea. Children will learn through stories, building, making projects, pretend play, and lots of hands-on activities. A highlight of the week will be our trip to the Train and Bus Museum in Miyazakidai, where students can see trains and buses up close and enjoy interactive exhibits.

Teamwork and Games

Week Two: Teamwork and Games

Week Two focuses on helping children learn how to work together, play fairly, and enjoy being part of a group. Through cooperative games and team challenges, children will practice important social skills such as taking turns, listening to others, encouraging their friends, and trying again when something feels challenging. The week will also include a trip to an indoor playground in Yokohama, giving children an opportunity to enjoy an active day of play, movement, and fun together.

Summer Fun

Week Three: Summer Fun

We will finish with a week that celebrates the best parts of summer. Students will enjoy classic summer activities, including water play to stay cool, along with games, crafts, and outdoor fun. We will finish with the KG Matsuri, which includes kakigori making, traditional games, and a parade of summer outfits. It is a great way to end the program feeling happy, confident, and connected with friends.
