Wrap up of Sojo's accomplishment this year
Suebin Lee

A huge thanks to everyone who supported our actions and a summary of our accomplishments this year.

Here comes the end of our successful year!! We send a huge thanks to everyone who supported our cause through fundraisers and also to our high school members who rigorously pulled through the works with ambition.

From the presentation to the fundraisers, the Social Justice Committee focused on the topic of 'Poverty in Japan' throughout the year. To wrap up our accomplishments on the fundraisers, we recently donated around 20,000 yen raised from the MS/HS accessory fundraiser to Second Harvest. In the past two months, we worked on the ES accessory fundraiser, in which we were able to raise around 50,000 yen. All profits will soon be delivered to Fukushima Wakaeda Gakuen. The ES fundraiser was especially meaningful as we had 25 middle school students, other than the current Social Justice Committee members, to help with creating the accessories for the ES fundraiser on St.Raphaela's day.

Next year, we will be focusing on a new topic related to social justice. We are looking forward to initiating more various actions with a new topic, hopefully with a loosen covid protocols, with new members as well.
