Shrek the Musical

In addition to the projects being prepared in class, rehearsals are already underway for this year’s Joint Musical, “Shrek the Musical”, which will have four showings April 11-13 at the St. Mary’s International School Multi-Purpose Hall. The show is being directed by Seisen’s own Dr. Reimer.

The Joint Musical is a joint production by Seisen, St. Mary’s, and Sacred Heart high school students, who do everything for the show from acting, playing the music, and designing and making costumes, sets, lights, etc. This year, in addition to the 101 high schoolers involved with the show, four lucky middle schools were also selected to join the cast to play the child roles in the show.

Four middle schoolers (left) and three high schoolers (right) will portray or understudy Fiona in the upcoming production of “Shrek the Musical”.
