Grade 10 students explore surrealism through their own work and Grade 8 students refine their skills to prepare for DP Art through Reduction Cut prints.

A big well-done to all students who participated in the numerous performances in a very busy November.

A select group of Seisen high school students embarked on an unforgettable journey to Hong Kong to participate in the prestigious 2025 AMIS Honor Jazz Festival & Jazz Skills Workshop.

This unit allowed students to work thoughtfully with materials, connect their ideas to cultural context, and deepen their skills in both analysis and expression.

The Grade 11 students show an impressive diversity and breadth in their work, with a willingness to explore and take risks with different media, which speaks to their autonomy and creativity as maturing Art students.

The event also included a performance by the Kanto Plain Select Band, comprised of top middle school instrumentalists from those five participating schools. The Select Band students, who rehearsed on one Saturday to put three pieces together, capped the festival with an impressive performance.

The Seisen KPASS Dance Team rehearsed their 7-minute routine during free time during the school day and after school, when possible. The routine consisted entirely of professional choreography from a mix of dance forms, including K-Pop, hip-hop, and Afrobeats.

Kanto Plains Association of Secondary Schools will host Film and Dance Festivals in May.

. For the first time our Seisen DP class had their final exhibition at the Setagaya Art Museum in Kinuta park.

Thank you seniors for sharing your musical talent throughout your middle and high school years; we will miss you dearly and hope that music continues to bring you joy in your next chapters! 

Over 1600 students, parents, faculty and staff, and members of the general public saw the show at one of its matinee and evening performances.
