High School Choral Festival Week

March is always an exciting month for our high school choir members! This year, we had the incredible opportunity to work with Dr. Timothy Westerhaus from Northern Arizona University during a choral workshop on Monday, March 3rd. His enthusiasm and passion for choral music were truly inspiring. He shared valuable insights, techniques, and musical principles that helped our choir refine their sound in preparation for the upcoming KPASS Choral Festival at Kinnick High School on Thursday, March 6th. Congratulations to the HS Choir students!

KPASS Honor Choir

In addition, several students auditioned and were selected for the KPASS Honor Choir, where they spent the entire day on Friday, March 7th, at International School of the Sacred Heart rehearsing under Dr. Westerhaus’s direction. Over the course of the day, they worked diligently on six challenging pieces, culminating in a stunning performance at the KPASS Honor Choir Concert.

Congratulations to all members of the Honor Choir and Vocal Ensemble students for their dedication and hard work, and for delivering a truly memorable performance!
