HS Choir bonds and prepares at Lake Yamanaka Retreat.

The high school choir students embarked on a retreat to Lake Yamanaka on Friday (August 23) afternoon, eager to bond and get a head start on repertoire preparation.

Despite a mere 24-hour getaway, the group was able to be productive, highlighted by moments of laughter and beautiful music-making. Although Mt. Fuji remained hidden behind clouds, the students enjoyed a walk by the lake, where they encountered graceful swans.

The choir will perform at the All-Seisen Conference, set to take place at Seisen University on Saturday, September 28th. The students are excited to continue refining their performance as the event approaches!

Grade 11 IBDP Mini-Exhibition

The Grade 11 students show an impressive diversity and breadth in their work, with a willingness to explore and take risks with different media, which speaks to their autonomy and creativity as maturing Art students.

KPASS Middle School Band Festival

The event also included a performance by the Kanto Plain Select Band, comprised of top middle school instrumentalists from those five participating schools. The Select Band students, who rehearsed on one Saturday to put three pieces together, capped the festival with an impressive performance.

Seisen Team Takes Silver at KPASS Dance Festival 2025

The Seisen KPASS Dance Team rehearsed their 7-minute routine during free time during the school day and after school, when possible. The routine consisted entirely of professional choreography from a mix of dance forms, including K-Pop, hip-hop, and Afrobeats.

Choral Festivals and Concerts

April 16th was a busy day for our choir students, with many performing at the SPA Luncheon before returning in the evening for the Spring Choir Concert.
