Students in Mr. Jimenez’s Grade 8 Visual Arts class have been studying Photography and printmaking. This process began with a dive into Moriyama Daido and his process for street photography. Students were then tasked with taking 100 photos from their perspective of their daily lives over the course of 2 weeks. After some photoshop processes, students have taken their chosen photo and are now working on a reduction linocut print. This year they are using the antique printing press to complete their multi-layer print accurately! These Seisen students have picked up this process amazingly well and should have multiple copies of their prints to share with friends and family.
