A huge round of applause for the Seisen Jazz Band's electrifying performance at the KPASS Jazz Festival on February 7th! Hosted by St. Mary's International School, the festival showcased incredible talent from Seisen, St.Mary’s, Christian Academy, American School in Japan, Saint Maur, Zama, and Yokota. Special congratulations to Yangfan Su (12), Sora Ihara (9), and Mei Yamada (9) for their well-deserved spots in the inaugural KPASS All-Star Jazz Band! The day was packed with learning, thanks to insightful workshops led by the adjudicators, culminating in a thrilling performance by these jazz masters. Bravo, Seisen Jazz Band, for a truly memorable day!

The Grade 11 students show an impressive diversity and breadth in their work, with a willingness to explore and take risks with different media, which speaks to their autonomy and creativity as maturing Art students.

KPASS Middle School Band Festival

The event also included a performance by the Kanto Plain Select Band, comprised of top middle school instrumentalists from those five participating schools. The Select Band students, who rehearsed on one Saturday to put three pieces together, capped the festival with an impressive performance.

Seisen Team Takes Silver at KPASS Dance Festival 2025

The Seisen KPASS Dance Team rehearsed their 7-minute routine during free time during the school day and after school, when possible. The routine consisted entirely of professional choreography from a mix of dance forms, including K-Pop, hip-hop, and Afrobeats.
