Parent Workshop: Counseling, Safeguarding and How to Strengthen the Lines of Communication in the Home
Wednesday, October 17th, at 7pm (19:00) workshop on "Counseling, Safeguarding and How to Strengthen the Lines of Communication in the Home"
Have you ever struggled with having difficult conversations with your daughters? Do you worry about some of the tough choices they will have to make in adolescence and whether they have the strategies to stay safe? Would you like to learn how to approach some of these issues in non-confrontational ways?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above questions, then please join me on Wednesday, October 17th, at 7pm (19:00) for a workshop on "Counseling, Safeguarding and How to Strengthen the Lines of Communication in the Home". During this session, I will review my role as a counselor especially with regard to confidentiality, share some of the lessons I am teaching your daughters in PSHE around staying safe, and discuss the Positive Discipline approach to having difficult conversations and the value of weekly family meetings.
As usual, this workshop will be interactive and experiential so please come willing to participate! Please RSVP using this form so that I may plan materials and refreshments accordingly.
To get the full benefit of the interactive workshop it best to join us in person, but we understand that some parents are not able to do that due to distance or time. You can still participate by watching the live stream of the workshop on the Seisen Youtube Channel or on the Live Broadcasting page. https://www.seisen.com/
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone, e-mail or by booking an appointment using this link. Please note, I realise that some parents are not able to attend evening sessions. I will coordinate with SPA to find an alternate date to offer this same session as a coffee morning. Details to follow soon!
Thank you and best wishes,
