Cross Country Season Underway
On Saturday the Seisen Cross Country team competed in their second race of the season. Runners from Seisen, Yokota, Kinnick, St. Maur, CAJ, Yokohama, ASIJ and Sacred Heart took on the very tough Tama Hills course. This week Seisen was competing against St. Maur and the Phoenix were able to beat the Cougars in the head to head match up. This victory was possible thanks to strong runs from three Seisen athletes who finished with top ten times overall.
4. Nana Richter, Seisen, 19:36.1
6. Kaarina Sirrka, Seisen, 20:09.9
9. Olivia Kraft, Seisen, 20:31.7
The team will be back at Tama Hills this Saturday for their next meet and they will once again be supported by a large contingent of Seisen parents who make the early morning trek to cheer on the Phoenix.
