Come Support the Basketball team and their orphanage visit in Thailand
Tomorrow is the first home basketball game of 2018.
On Saturday the Middle School Soccer A and C teams traveled to CAJ.
In the A team match, the girls did their best to adapt to the larger sized field and goals, but two strikes including a volley from the half way line saw the girls trailing 2-0 at half time. After a team talk the girls played well in the second half, but a late goal from CAJ's #10, her third of the match, saw us succumb to a 3-0 defeat.
In the C team match, the girls did a terrific job matching up against an aggressive opponent. Alunda stood strong and prevented any goals from hitting the back of the net. Kate had a tenacious defensive performance and covered more than her share of the field. Sora had three shots on goal, and came very close to sinking a shot. C team should be very proud of their play and the team tried their best but couldn't find a way through CAJ's defense and the game ended 0-0. Way to go, girls!
Better luck next week, ladies!
