Letterland Day on February 19th, 2020
On Wednesday, February 19th, all the Kindergarten children are invited to come to school dressed in a simple Letterland costume for our Letterland Day. This year we will not be having a parade or a performance, however you are welcome to come early morning to take photos. It is a normal school day. The introduction of Letterland to supplement our Montessori phonetic language scheme continues to be a resounding success with all the children and is as popular as ever. They thoroughly enjoy all the fun characters and it has made learning sounds very pleasurable for them.
You will find the enclosed coloured sheet of the characters helpful when deciding on what costume your child would like to wear for this fun day. Have your child/ren help you make the costume as this is a wonderful learning experience for them. Children can come to school dressed in their costume. Please keep the costume simple and comfortable. You can get more on these characters by visiting www.letterland.com.
