The Seisen Festival of Nations is always a day for members of the local community to come inside the gates of our school and feel the atmosphere of our community. This weekend it is your turn.

Tokyo Metropolitan Engei High School in an agricultural high school that sits on the grounds of what used to be Totoro Castle. Last year they celebrated their 110th Anniversary of teaching students how to grow fruit, vegetables, flowers, and even raise animals. Some Seisen families have adopted pets from their animal care class. All of this is just a 10 minute walk from Seisen on their massive campus in Fukasawa.

This weekend they will hold their School Festival on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM until 3PM. You can purchase flowers grown by the students, sample jams and other food they have made, or even just walk through their rose garden and bonsai tree collection. This arial view of the school shows the fields for growing vegetables, greenhouses and more.

Visiting Tokyo Metropolitan Engei High School is like walking through a park. Visit the campus this weekend, for food, entertainment, and to get back to nature.

Festival Postponed to Monday, October 14th

Dear Seisen Community,

The current weather forecast predicts that the typhoon will hit Tokyo on Oct. 12th, Saturday with the effects of the weather continuing until Sunday morning. Given the logistics involved in set up, the unpredictability of the effects of the typhoon, and ultimately the importance of personal safety at the event, it has been decided to postpone the Festival until Monday October 14th, from 10am - 4pm.

We understand this may impact the schedules of those planning to be involved on the original date and we will do our best to accommodate requests you may have as a result of this change.

The Administration of Seisen International School and the Seisen Parents' Association would like to thank everyone for their kind understanding and continuous support for the Festival of Nations.
