September 24th Open House
For families interested in Kindergarten and Grade One
Thank you for your interest in learning about the Seisen Family. For more than five decades Seisen has been an education leader in the Tokyo foreign community. As a proud member of the Japan Council of International Schools and one of the first schools in Japan to offer the International Baccalaureate Program in 1986 we look forward to sharing our story.
Is "Learning to Love, and Loving to Learn" the path to success for your child?
The Open House on September 24th is an excellent chance for parents with children of all ages to learn more about what Seisen International School has to offer from our Two Year Old Buttercup class up to our High School IB Diploma Program.
The nature of international families is that families could move at any time in the school year. For this reason Seisen International School uses a rolling enrollment system that allows students to join whenever they may be moving to Tokyo
Seisen International School Kindergarten is the only Kindergarten in Setagaya authorized by the Japan Council of International Schools (JCIS).

The easy answer is, the earlier the better. Priority for spaces in our two Grade One classes is given to students coming from our own Kindergarten. This is generally 80-85% of spaces. This only leaves a handful of spaces for new applicants.
Grade One Admissions Priorities:
- Student entering Grade One from Seisen Kindergarten.
- Students of Seisen graduates.
- Students moving to Tokyo from overseas.
The Online Inquiry button is the first step in beginning the Admissions process at Seisen.
