Tennis, Cross Country and Volleyball bring home victories

HELLO PHOENIX FANS!!

Results from last week:

On Tuesday the JV Volleyball team hosted BST and came out strong winning 2-0.
On Thursday the JV Volleyball team had their first game of the season against CAJ, bringing back a win 7-0.

On Friday the HS Cross Country team went to the Ajinomoto Track Field to race against ASIJ, CAJ, and St. Mary's.  After a long day, they were victorious and brought home a win.

On Saturday the Varsity Volleyball team traveled to ASIJ to take part in the YUJO Tournament.  They came out strong in their first game of the day against ASIJ JV winning 2-0.  In the finals, they went against ASIJ.  Although it was a tough game, they came out strong and amazing, bringing back the trophy home with a score of 3-2.  The two senior captains were, Liz Goff and Marin Sakata were named all star.  Lisa Purcell (10) was named All star AND best player in the tournament!!
