Congratulations to all the students in our 2025 Seisen Book Bowl Team. They competed valiantly against 10 other schools last Friday at Nishimachi International School to gain third place. Congratulations to SMIS and Osaka, as well as the other teams, who were great opponents. Each student had spent many months in preparation.
Thanks to the students who were prepared to give up break and lunch times to practice, as well as read and reread several books. Thanks to the families who supported us both before and during the event. I know many families purchased many new books for their personal collections! We should remember that through this competition the student's reading skills and abilities will have certainly improved.
I know this experience will be remembered as a highlight in the year.
