The MS and HS Cross-Country teams 'Stepped Up For Mental Health' for TELL this year to make a difference and raise awareness for mental health, removing the stigma around reaching out for help. We completed 21, 837 steps in teams of four to commemorate the 21, 837 lives lost to suicide last year in Japan alone. Suicide remains a critical issue that impacts individuals and communities in Japan. To inspire positive change and tackle this uncomfortable but important topic, TELL focuses on Step-Up Challenge 2024 – a month-long, nationwide effort to #StartTheConversation which the Seisen Phoenix HS and MS Cross-Country teams commit to participating in every year.
