National Honor Society Inductees Exhibit Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character
Greg Walters

The National Honor Society was formed one hundred years ago this year in the United States. There are chapters across the country and now in many international schools as well.  Students are selected based on their strong records of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

The induction ceremony took place in the Seisen chapel on Tuesday, November 9th.  If our records are correct, this was the 40th group to be sworn in.   Ms. Rogers and Mr. Lee offered words of wisdom and issued challenges to all members of the group and Mr. Mitchell helped with the officiating.  All current members played a role in this celebration.  Unfortunately, parents were not able to attend this year.

The main ongoing NHS service activities are tutoring elementary students (currently online) and doing some trash pickup in the Seisen neighborhood.  This year we have also helped with the new teacher orientation and the Future Day activity organized by the student council.

We are proud to announce the new inductees into our Rafaela Maria Porras Chapter.
