Congratulations to the 2021 Middle School Brain Bowl team for another successful season!

After months of quizzing each other and building their knowledge of trivia, the Seisen MS Brain Bowl team participated in a virtual event with students from all around the Kanto Plains. Fifteen students represented Seisen, which was the largest turnout of all the KPASS teams this year. Seisen was particularly strong in the Brain Teasers and the Country Flag categories!

Because this year's event was held online, the traditional categories, the competitive scoring system, and the mixed-school teams were temporarily set aside. Instead, the focus was on collaboration and mutual inclusivity. Students were able to relax and participate in fun, unique novelty rounds with a wide range of categories such as country foods, emojis, facial hair trivia, famous scientists and more! Depending on the round, students either worked together with their own school team, or they participated individually.

As their coach, I was personally impressed by the collaborative efforts that our girls demonstrated. They all had a positive attitude, even when they encountered some technical issues. They were supportive of other schools, and they worked well as a team, regardless of what grade level they were in.

Well done, Seisen! A huge round of applause for all of the Middle School Brain Bowlers!
