ICU Campus Tour
On Thursday, December 2nd, 13 Seisen students, including juniors and seniors visited the International Christian University campus. The campus tour started off with a presentation by the public relations office and the administration center. The presentation emphasized the uniqueness of ICU’s liberal arts education, where students can explore both humanities and sciences.
After the presentation, Mana Kitazawa (Class of 2021) kindly explained her current experience at ICU, and answered our questions about her campus life, classes, extracurricular/clubs, and commute. It was very helpful for us to hear from someone who went through the IBDP at Seisen.
We then had a tour around the campus with two current students of ICU. The campus was very large, clean and surrounded by nature. There were many facilities that we did not expect, such as the integrated learning center and libraries which are open until 22:00. We were also able to see the many dorm buildings at ICU.
We appreciate ICU for warmly welcoming us and giving us a tour in person despite the Covid situation. A big thank you to Mana, who came on campus during her Winter Break, Mr. Wagai for driving us to the campus and back, and Ms. Lui for arranging the ICU campus tour and supervising us during the whole trip!
