In its almost 60 years of existence, Seisen International School has borne witness to major historical events both local and on the World Stage. The Tōhoku Earthquake of March 11th, 2011 saw the world look to Japan, as news of the earthquake and its resulting tsunami grabbed headlines around the world.

Here at Seisen International School, we will look to our Mission as a Catholic School to ground our efforts both educational and charitable:

“Seisen International School, a Catholic International School, educates future world citizens to become men and women for others and with others, in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Seisen International School’s mission is to provide a safe environment in order to empower each student, through shared responsibility, creativity, and human interdependence, to develop their unique talents and to become competent and compassionate players in our global society, capable of empowering others and of bringing hope and peace to our ever changing  world.”
We will live our Guiding Principles by reaching out to one another with hospitality and hope and we will act as leaven for worldwide community building. We will honor the humanity of all our students no matter their country of origin.

We will honor our host country of Japan with our traditional Dress for Japan Day on March 11th.
