Career Talk: Finance Industry

An introduction to the world of finance has been a very insightful knowledge, as it isn't a career that hits the spotlight on the daily news. However, from today's talk with Ms. Shigekawa, I learned that there are always people who support our "normal" lives. The economic factors we are participating in unconsciously, such as shopping at the supermarket and riding public transportation, have certain workers who are qualified to keep the system in order. I enjoyed the question-and-answer period with Ms. Shigekawa because it required us to make connections between what we have learned and apply that to a real-world situation. In other words, enlarging your surrounding environment to a larger scale to track human activity. Overall, I want to thank Ms. Shigekawa for sharing her experience in the field of asset management and also for representing her status as a former student at Seisen.
