“Seisen 60th Anniversary Celebration”

Seisen’s first major community event in 3 years took place on Saturday, October 29th in celebration of the school’s 60th anniversary, bringing joyful moments of reunion and reconnection in our community!

Blessed with lovely weather, the festival was a big success, attended by current students and their families, alumni and families, and staff/ faculty members and families. In accordance with the “new normal” lifestyle, we saw a number of changes in the management of the festival for more convenience and to show our care for the environment. For example, a ticket system was introduced to replace cash, an Eco centre was set up with volunteers in action to separate the trash and second hand books were recycled in the cafeteria.

As we all know, the highlight and major attraction of the celebration was the wonderful food and beverages offered by the 12 country booths: Australia New Zealand, Canada, China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Latin America, Nordic, Philippines, UK, USA. Shoppers enjoyed a variety of treats and merchandise, activities and services provided by the Senior booth, Alumni booth, various Student-led booths, and SPA booth, while children had endless fun at the 15 game booths, running, cheering and winning prizes!

24 groups of student, parent and teacher/staff performers took the stage and entertained the spectators with singing, dancing and music performances, all smoothly coordinated by the student MCs.

SPA would like to extend our sincere thank you to all volunteers of all the country booths and other booths, Dads in Yellow (DIY), Booster girls and all student volunteers, teacher and staff volunteers,
maintenance/cleaning staff, the Main office, Senior leadership team, Cezars Kitchen, the Sisters, the guards, Environment and Sustainability Committee and everyone who joined and supported the anniversary celebration to make it a memorable event.
