Pre-4th Graders Make News Friends Through Writing
Learning how to write biographies to develop writing skills.
In the Pre-4th Grade class, the students are currently writing a biography to develop their writing and English skills. For this activity, each student has a partner where they interview each other. After the interview, with the information gained, the students write a biography about their partner. As the class has a mixture of students from the previous grade 3 class, through this interactive activity, the students are able to engage with new classmates and develop new friendships. Ms.Cristina stated that "it is a great way for students to get to know each other while also working on their writing skills." The students seemed to enjoy their writing tasks and their enjoyment when interacting with friends will surely be reflected in their completed works.
