Dear Parents and Guardians,
Prime Minister Abe announced this evening that all schools in Japan should close effective Monday, March 2nd, 2020, “until Japanese school spring break” which we are interpreting as until Sunday, March 29th, with school scheduled to reconvene on Monday, March 30th.
We will have school Friday, February 28th and continue preparations for the upcoming weeks using our respective contingency plans for online/ at home learning. More information for parents and students on this plan will be forthcoming tomorrow afternoon. Students are advised to be prepared to take home all necessary resources such as laptops/iPads, textbooks and other school material tomorrow at the end of the school day.
We thank you for your understanding as we work together to navigate the situation.
