Grade 1 collaborative art

Grade 1 collaborative art
Nicola Speirs

Grade 1 students have been working together to create their very own masterpieces, in the style of Edvard Munch, Roy Lichtenstein, Leonardo da Vinci and Grant Wood.

They studied some of the world's most famous portraits, from these masters and gave careful consideration to how emotions can be conveyed using colour.

They will create a book of emotions to help them to describe their feelings through the visual arts.

Can you recognise any of the backgrounds they have painted from a few famous portraits?
