Welcome back to school!

In Grade 1 this week, students have been exploring their How we express ourselves unit of inquiry - Celebrations. They are exploring the central idea Celebrations and traditions can express shared beliefs and valuesThis involves investigating and exploring reasons why people celebrate and key features of celebrations.

Students discussed what a New Year's Resolution is and why we have them. Each student set a resolution which is currently on display outside the Grade 1 classrooms. You will notice they are a large mix of academic goals, social goals, family goals and well-being goals.

We invite you to also add your own resolution to the board by writing your name, the grade your child is in and what your New Year's Resolution is!
