What started out as a dreary rainy day, ended with good weather and high spirits.
The Seisen Festival of Nations 2016 was a success, although it didn't seem like it would be with a downpour in the morning. Entertainment moved inside or under shelter, but continued unabated. Festival guests took cover wherever they could.
Then in the afternoon, the sun came out and so did the people. Performances moved back to the outdoor stage, and people surged through the footsal field and tennis courts sampling food and drink from a wide variety of country booths, and enjoying the many games set up by the elementary and KG homeroom classes.
The festival was extended for one hour to take advantage of the break in the weather. Sr. Asuncion spent a good part of the day surrounded by the girls of the Former Students Association and her Seisen Family.
All in all, it turned out to be a pretty good day.
