This course will cover the first year of the Standard Level IB Biology Syllabus. Topics will include basic chemistry, cells, genetics and human physiology. Emphasis will be placed on the planning, execution and analysis of labs with a focus on the statistical significance of lab results. Students will also carry out plan and carry out the Group 4 Science project, a culminating science investigation.
