Counselor
Seisen adopts a holistic approach in meeting the educational and developmental needs of students. The counselor collaborates with faculty, administration, parents and students to provide and develop a comprehensive counseling program for all the students at Seisen. Also, the counselor is a part of the Seisen Support Team, which includes the Learning Support Specialist and School Nurse. On a regular basis, the counselor enters the classroom to teach lessons on social and developmental issues in accordance to the Elementary School and High School curricula. The Adviser - Advisee program that is put into place for students in grades 7-12 has been successful in providing each of the students the opportunity to choose a faculty adviser with whom they can talk to regarding academic and personal concerns.
